“ I sat at the bar. Its kind of small inside but more seats outside. Was wandering by strolling through La Jolla and stopped in. The sushi chefs and the wait staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed their fancy roll and hope to return to enjoy more! ”
“ This has got to be my top choice when it comes to sushi. The choices went from basic to scrumptious. They started sushi from the basics and made others very unique. I was surprised by some flavors such as macadamia nuts, but overall pleasantly surprised. I would definitely recommend the sashimi. “ Stopped by Sushi Nekosan for dinner with a friend to try a few rolls. The menu has a bunch of fun and creative roll options. Got the Special Hawaiian, the Baja Lemon Cilantro and a sushiavocado. I loved the Special Hawaiian the most, it had all my favorites. The fish was super fresh and they were not skimpy with the portions. My friend got the small sake 6 and while I dont like sake, I definitely want to mention it because I felt the amount she got for the price was very generous. Service was good, our waiter was very attentive and patient with questions we had about the menu. Id come back if I happened to be in the area because I know the sushi rolls will be of good quality, but it probably wont be one of my gotos. ”

“ Loved this hidden gem at the heart of La Jolla. Its been a long time since I had such good sushi! Really enjoyed a fun dinner here. They are also very kid friendly. We tried the Mackerel nigiri, Salmon Aburi, Yellexico, and The Dunkan. They were all incredibly delicious. The miso soup was also really good. Highly recommended! ”
